That’s why we’re so excited to share our new addition to the venue: The Foldyard.
Introducing The Foldyard
Tucked beside our charming crinkle-crankle wall and just to the left of the Farmshed, The Foldyard is a newly revealed corner of the grounds, thoughtfully reimagined as a patio-style outdoor reception space.
The name is inspired by Syrencot’s farming heritage – a foldyard was traditionally a sheltered enclosure for livestock. The space reflects the warmth of bringing people together, echoing the idea of welcoming new family members into the fold. Seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape, The Foldyard feels like a natural extension of the venue: elegant, relaxed, and effortlessly welcoming.
Designed with your day in mind
Styled with bistro-style furniture and featuring two electric canopies, The Foldyard has been designed to work beautifully in all seasons. Whether the sun is shining or the weather is being a little less predictable, your guests will have a comfortable, sheltered place to gather.
On the day, you’ll enjoy a smooth, relaxed daytime turnaround between ceremony and reception with more space for guests to mingle, chat, and enjoy a drink.
